This post is prompted in part by the fact that I’ve seen an overwhelming display of righteous indignation from those on the right side of the blogosphere regarding the allegations currently pending against James O’Keefe. Too many have acted as judge, jury and executioner against a kid whose contributions to truth and justice are simply too important to ignore.

I’m going on record here as being 100% behind James and the other three kids involved until such time as they may be tried and convicted by a jury of their peers.

This is America. This kid is owed a debt of gratitude for his past work on exposing ACORN for who they really are. He deserves, if not a pass from us, at least unwavering public support until such time as he is found guilty by a jury of his peers. I’m not saying his actions, if indeed they constitute a crime, deserve a pass by any means.

But the Conservative blogosphere has overwhelmingly already tried and convicted this kid based solely on an affidavit. Personally I think to do so under any circumstances is premature and wrong; in this situation it’s also deplorable and morally bankrupt…and still very, very wrong. Where’s your spine conservative bloggers?

I agree with Russ though will take it one step further. The contract between the citizenry and our would be federal masters has been willfully destroyed. War has been declared upon us and we have not enjoyed the exercise of our natural rights or the protections afforded us via said rights. Leviathan has purposefully destroyed individual liberty and has torn to shreds the underlying prinicpals of our Republic.  James O’Keefe, acting in defense of liberty and freedom, may have broken the “law”. My simple response to this is so what? Welcome to political warfare and if what James O’Keefe is alleged to have done makes you squeamish then you need to revisit your thought process and underlying understanding of the forces arrayed against you. Leviathan will do anything and everything they can to destroy freedom and ultimately destroy you, the individual. How do you propose to stop their statist juggernaut and then begin to restore our Republic? Do you believe leviathan is just going to go quietly into the good night due to blogging? The electoral process? By waving fairy dust and hope? No, you need to stand strong and be prepared to pledge your life, fortune and sacred honor in defense of liberty. They will NOT surrender until you and your liberty are ground to death beneath their jackboots…..

Dear James, if need be contact us here at the resistance. We’ll keep you free. The underground can and will protect you.

The rest of you better pull your head out of anal defialde and be prepared to support others as they come under attack from the regime. Think it won’t happen? You’re dreaming and in the end will have earned your enslavement. Put aside the funds and materials necessary to run an underground in support of those who are busy standing up while you busy yourself with whatever it is you do…..

Interestingly enough there are 50 citizens who work for the “executive office of the U.S. President” and what’s even better collectively they all owe around 800K in back taxes..so wonder when the JBT’S will be kicking their door in? We all know this won’t happen….though in the future someone may be kicking their door in…..or blowing a hole through their roof, or wall, or who knows…….only the shadow knows….

Welcome to 2010…….

I’ve been absent a bit as of late though I was busy stirring the guts of a hapless chicken divining the future while alternatively speaking to the creatures and gypsy’s that inhabit the hills, holler’s, and fields of my mountains. And they are my mountains, come and try and make it any different…though I digress…

It is 2010 and here we are…..

Are we any freer in this New Year? Have your public servants and would be masters done anything to advance the cause of freedom? Have you been free to exercise your rights to life, liberty and property absent government interference, regulation or taxation? Have you been able to redress grievance in regards to the continued encroachment of the federal leviathan into your life and that of your progeny?  In short are you leaving your progeny a Republic that defends and advances individual freedom, liberty and the improvement of the overall human condition?

I believe we can all safely answer no to the above questions. Additionally we must ask ourselves what we and our fellow citizens have done to advance the cause of freedom, liberty and the overall improvement of the human condition.

The following came to us in an email and we’ve no one to credit with the propagation of said quote though we believe it bears thoughtful consideration;

Our would be masters, the benevolent dictators that inhabit the ten miles square of the federal environ, the self appointed and self synchronizing leviathan seeking to establish their twisted, evil, and murderous yoke upon the American people shoulder a portion of the blame in regards to our current condition though make no mistake; they exist and are triumphant in their pursuits because the Kulaks, the so called citizens, allow them victory.

Tea Partiers, non-aligned third party wanna be’s, and sundry other assorted political opposition movements, if one could call them that, offer no real opposition to the ever encroaching leviathan that seeks to strangle to death the last vestige of freedom. You can continue to masturbate your way to the gulag though rest assured while these outbursts and protests feel good they accomplish nothing.

We have been told that 2010 offers hope, that the mid-term elections will offer the opportunity to seize upon the moment and begin the long walk back to freedom and liberty. I am sorry to report gentle reader the mid-terms offer no remedy to the willful, purposeful destruction being wrought upon you by your rulers. The seeds of economic destruction have been sewn. Your national defense is in disarray, the body politic is disgruntled, fractured and disparate. Enemies, foreign and domestic run amok and anyone that believes 2010 offers any hope whatsoever via political means is sadly mistaken. Pay me now or pay me later eventually payment will be rendered to those who have allowed for the destruction of the Republic.

The bill is due and you’ve no recourse other than to prepare for the eventuality of conflict with those that are purposefully destroying your Republic. The crystal ball of history tells us this is so. Anyone believing any different is whistling past the graveyard of history and deluding themselves to their own detriment and that of the Republic.

National level politics is dead. Abandon the parties, abandon the national political landscape. Leave them to their own devices. In 2010 it is incumbent upon you and yours to prepare for the coming conflict in addition to seizing the opportunity to affect your local political landscape. You must decentralize your resistance to the local level. Your town, county and state efforts should take priority over any other political pursuit. Render your would be federal masters irrelevant. Additionally prepare to actively resist the usurpation of your liberties at the local level. You are all now behind the lines in enemy occupied territory. Conduct yourselves accordingly and prepare.

At the end of the day it all comes down to you the individual. It starts with you, ends with you. You can look out across the landscape, discern the evil run amok, the willful and purposeful destruction unleashed upon you though ultimately there is nothing more powerful than the individual and his will to reason, to action, the exertion of his rational self interest. There is plenty of blame to go around though before we can restore our Republic we all need to look within and then act if required.

There be some wisdom in this mans words…read and heed…and then do something other than bitch, moan, and complain.

Mike of Sipsey Street and Oath Keepers have made the London Telegraph. According to Title 10, SEC 311 of the USC all able bodied males from the ages of 17-45 are members of the un-organized militia. Thus NFTR has no problem with “the militia” and fully expects that all rational individuals will ably execute their responsibility as an American citizen. Keep the following quote in mind;

The covenant between the citizenry and our representative/servant government has been torn assunder. Keep in mind the only thing and it is the ONLY thing keeping your servants from utilizing force against you is your possession of arms and your will to use them if necessary. We will continue to address grievances peacefully though only until the moral leash currently binding us is let slip due to government sponsored martial force being utilized against the American people. Until then we wait, watch and prepare. Rest assured eventually they will utilize force. It is their nature. Until that day….

1.  Don’t forget nothing.

2.  Have your musket clean as a whistle, hatchet scoured, sixty rounds powder and ball, and be ready to march at a minute’s warning.

3.  When you’re on the march, act the way you would if you was sneaking up on a deer.  See the enemy first.

4.  Tell the truth about what you see and what you do.  There is an army depending on us for correct information.  You can lie all you please when you tell other folks about the Rangers, but don’t never lie to a Ranger or officer.

5.  Don’t never take a chance you don’t have to.

6.  When we’re on the march we march single file, far enough apart so one shot can’t go through two men.

7.  If we strike swamps, or soft ground, we spread out abreast, so it’s hard to track us.

8.  When we march, we keep moving till dark, so as to give the enemy the least possible chance at us.

9.  When we camp, half the party stays awake while the other half sleeps.

10.  If we take prisoners, we keep ‘em separate till we have had time to examine them, so they can’t cook up a story between ‘em.

11.  Don’t ever march home the same way.  Take a different route so you won’t be ambushed.

12.  No matter whether we travel in big parties or little ones, each party has to keep a scout twenty yards ahead, twenty yards on each flank and twenty yards in the rear, so the main body can’t be surprised and wiped out.

13.  Every night you’ll be told where to meet if surrounded by a superior force.

14.  Don’t sit down to eat without posting sentries.

15.   Don’t sleep beyond dawn.  Dawn’s when the French and indians attack.

17.  If somebody’s trailing you, make a circle, come back onto your own tracks, and ambush the folks that aim to ambush you.

18.  Don’t stand up when the enemy’s coming against you.  Kneel down, lie down, hide behind a tree.

19.  Let the enemy come till he’s almost close enough to touch.  Then let him have it and jump out and finish him with your hatchet.

I only got a very brief taste of real freedom running the hills, valleys, mountains, and chapparal of a cattle ranch while growing up. I was allowed to be free by my parents and grandparents. I was allowed to shoot and hunt whatever, wherever, and however I wanted. I was under 18 yet able to freely exercise my RKBA at my leisure along with my many friends. One of my best friends went on to serve in ODA 365 (SFC Lane – died 29 August 2003 at Deh Chopan, Zabul, AFG) and earned the nickname of “the shootist” (among other things) among his team. Much of his fine skill at arms was learned back in the day prior even to attaining the age of emancipation. We learned what buck, slugs, WWII military rounds (.303 Brit, 8mm Mauser, 30-06, etc) and anything else we could get our hands on did to anything that we felt like shooting at and what the different ballistics of the various cartridges were like. We only had one rule which we had to follow which was “don’t shoot the cows.” We could live with that as there was lots of other stuff good stuff, the detritus of 100 years of ranching not to mention fowl, rabbits, coyotes, and ground squirrels. I made some amazing shots that I still puzzle at even today. When I take the kids out shooting I can still point out some of the idiotic stuff that we did and the lasting scars in bullet riddled vehicles and outbuildings. I consider myself blessed to still draw breath, and all that before I even joined the Army. Besides a bigger boom (8″ and 155mm) it was all a little anti-climactic after that. Little did I know at the time that we were in violation of myriad laws, rules, and regulations. It was private property and Mr. Gubmint Agent man had no access nor was I even aware of the many excesses or usurpations which many had been subjected to. I was in my own little world and all seemed right in the world. The anomaly of my experiences of growing up free in the People’s Demokratik Rupublik of Kalifornia (believe it or not) has forever influenced me and made the current situation here all the more bitter for me to accept.

Anyway, thanks for this site and for having my 6, as I most assuredly have yours!!!

America, you have become dull. Dull in your philosophy, mind, body and spirit. You are dull in your pursuits, your conversations, your thoughts, your pursuit of a greater meaning and lastly in your pursuit of excellence.

You are the instant gratification nation. You have lost your grounding. The spirit of rugged individualism and resiliency while not completely dead lies dormant in your heart. Your soul has been exchanged for Lord knows what? Pick a distraction. Plenty abound and your appetite for shallowness, low browed pursuits and immediate gratification is insatiable. Righteous pride has been set aside and replaced with acquiescence. Acquiescence to every whimsical fancy, every shallow desire and you wonder why we have the leaders we have.  Righteous anger has been replaced with tolerance. A tolerance born of the weak, born of those who want to make right that which can never be, and a tolerance that demands you shed your rational self interest in pursuit of the latest fad even if it mean your self destruction.

America, you have forgotten your exceptionalism. You have not only forgotten it, you have killed it. You stand in awe and wonder as you are repeatedly told that you are not exceptional. Misty eyed, doe like in your acceptance of this drivel you gasp and beat your chest. Why yes, we are not exceptional. We have done much damage to the world. You weep and gnash your teeth at the injustice of it all. Oh how low have we become. What great wrongs we have done to the world. We must level the playing field and right these tremendous wrongs.

You have surrendered yourselves to the equity adjusters. You have torn asunder the foundation that your fathers built. You have run rampant like spoiled children over the morals that your mothers have instilled within you. Filled with faux sophistication and the faux appearance of intellectualism you murder the inner voice that screams out at you. You ignore it though it gnaws at you and instinctively you know something is wrong though you willfully refuse to acknowledge what that something is. It is guilt, shame and a lasting sorrow that will not leave you due to your purposeful self destruction.

No one is going to destroy you but you. There is no need to worry about economic chaos, about the loss of your freedom and your associated pursuits of life, liberty, and property. YOU have wrought your self destruction. Bleat all you like, lie to yourself that you are the exception. Sit and fantasize as to how you and you alone are the last individual, the last man standing, and the one who will survive while the sheep are led to the slaughter. You are wrong.

There is still time America. There is time for you to stand, to remember and seize upon your birthright. Remember the lessons of your fathers; remember the love of your mothers. Remember what it is to be exceptional and to live for larger purposes other than the purposes of self gratification, self aggrandizement and ultimately self destruction.

When you are ready to seize your liberty and emancipate yourself you will begin a long journey home. You’ll be welcome here with us as a fellow REBEL though until then you are no more than the hollow men and we’ve no use for you.

U.S. taking majority ownership of GMAC

The federal government said Wednesday it will take majority control of the troubled auto lender GMAC, providing another $3.8 billion in aid to the company, which has been unable to raise from private investors the money it needs to staunch its losses. GMAC, which already has taken $12.5 billion in direct federal aid along with other forms of government support, is the largest lender to General Motors and Chrysler dealerships and to their auto-buying customers.

It’s own shareholder’s don’t want to bail it out though Uncle Sugar is right there with YOUR TAX DOLLARS bailing out a failed private enterprise. If you buy from GM or finance via GMAC then go off in the corner and choke yourself to death. Why do you continue to feed the beast?
